Deuce Creative
Each project we engage is completed through a series of milestones and below is our typical structure.
Knowing every client is unique, we keep things somewhat flexible, but here’s the idea:
Our team is composed of creative strategists and business-minded designers, which is key in the development of our unique and powerful product. Every engagement has at least one partner, designer and writer involved in the development
MEETING
Our company is the product of strong personal and business relationships. Many of our clients have been with us for years. Before we begin any engagement, no matter how big or small, we feel it is important to meet face to face to discuss expectations, deadlines, and budgets prior to getting to work.
PROPOSAL
Because every project is unique, we develop a proposal for each project we are considered for. Our goal is to be as comprehensive as possible with this process so that expectations are always met and never misunderstood. We know that clearly defined objectives lead to a better creative product. It is standard practice for us to follow accepted proposals with contracts or hourly service agreements to further establish guidelines.
KICK-OFF • DISCOVERY
Research and discovery are integral to every project we carry out. Our strategic team will guide you through this process. Here we document a more in depth strategic direction that will drive the creative process. If you don’t know your position, after this meeting you either will or at least feel a sense of urgency about establishing it. Either way, the creative briefing is a win-win.
PLANNING • MAPPING THE PROJECT
Every project needs a plan. This is where we put that plan on paper. This phase is most critical in web and interactive work. It is part of the envisioning phase, where ideas become diagrams. Here we can hash out functionality questions and user experience enhancements.
CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT • DESIGN
Here is where everything comes to life. We usually present a few different directions inspired by the briefing process and one of the concepts will be the catalyst for the final product. Here, a direction is established before we move forward with the creative process.
  CONTENT GATHERING
In order to get a comprehensive understanding of our client’s business and further establish the voice in which the marketing will be written, we guide the client through a copy angle interview process where we drill deeper into what the marketing will convey and how ideas will be communicated through copy.
  PRODUCTION
This is the part of the process where we spread our wings and fly on our own. Here we fully develop the prototype of the printed piece, draft the content and /or code the website.
  TESTING • PROOFING • EDITING •
CHECKING QUALITY

Our process doesn’t stop at the end of the design phase. We think of production, printing and development as part of our overall creative process. It is important that our team has a hand in the output of projects we design or conceptualize to ensure that it is created exactly how it was intended—and only the people who created it can do that job.
